Esam 6700 Grinder

How loud or quiet is the grinder?

Hello!

>I would like to buy a fully automatic coffee machine. Unfortunately, I have no experience with fully automatic coffee machines. So far I've always brewed my coffee by hand. But I think now is the time for me to take my coffee drinking to a more professional level.

My current preference is for the Delonghi Primadonna Avant. My internet searches have answered almost all my questions so far. But not this one: How loud is the grinder of the prima donna? Could someone please give me a comparable volume level? I can also do something with dB data. Unfortunately I haven't found any yet.

It would be better if, for example, you go to "stinginess is horny" or the other stupid market and take a look at the device. In any case, not only because of the volume, this is better than just getting information online. You don't necessarily have to listen to the on-site consultation, but watching a device live is not bad at all.

That's what I'd like to do. Only then I'd have to sit in the car for about an hour.

Mir it would be enough for me to get a similar indication, e.g. the sound of a kettle shortly before switching off. Or a working microwave.

The volume of another device can only be orientated to a limited extent. I have just come home with a new kettle and notice that the new one is much quieter than the old one. So much for volume...

It might also be helpful if you tell us where you live.
You might have someone near you where you can check out Machine.

Hallo!

Up to now I always had the feeling that all the kettles I had (although they were different brands) were the same.

Is there no data sheet or similar of the Delonghi PrimaDonna Avant which contains a clear db specification? That would be the best thing for me right now.

There are data sheets, however the manufacturers do not give any information concerning the measurement results of the noise development.

Thanks for the answers.

As I see, I have no choice but to get in my car for an hour at the weekend and drive to the next electronics wholesale store. Probably it is better to have a look at the PrimaDonna Avant in real and to hear it grind. Maybe I'll hit you right away.

In order to demonstrate (and possibly then also buy) I would almost better go to a retailer or an appropriate specialist shop... Mostly you get better advice, probably there is also a higher willingness to show you a model and if necessary there is also a concession of the dealer regarding the price... smile.gif

it shouldn't be too late yet. i heard the 6700 at a demonstration, or i didn't hear anything biggrin.gif>
I waited all the time for the mill to turn on and nothing happened until suddenly the coffee ran out.
speak i didn't hear anything about the grinding process, but i didn't hear anything about it.
mag be that due to the ambient noise in this market nothing was heard and it's at home where it usually is quieter to hear something about the grinding process, but it's certainly not loud.

I would blame a lot of the surrounding sounds for that... - as far as I can judge it from the 6600 in comparison to the Z5, the deLonghi was a lot louder than the Jura make... rolleyes.gif

That you can't hear anything now is not true.
The mill is very quiet.
But the pump is louder.
