Hi Melitta Coffee Maker Specialist,

I have a fault at my N76. If I switch on the machine and the machine starts the dishwashing program, first the message:

WATER TANK PLEASE FILL!

>My water tank is well filled and up to the stop in the machine.

Lt. Instruction manual it can come to this error if there is air in the line and you should then simply press the OK button MORE FAILURE.
Now it doesn't work even after pressing 30 times.

When a coffee program is started, it stops after grinding the coffee as well and the above error message appears.

Once the machine is switched off (at this time there is already ground coffee in the machine), then restarted and activated with a new coffee program start, the previously ground coffee is emptied and a new coffee is ground and also brewed RIGHTly.
>Comically, no more error messages will appear.

As soon as the machine is switched off and restarted, the same error message will appear again.

Who of the Melitta coffee specialists has a similar problem???

Greetings

Robert

PS: Since I still have warranty on this machine, I will call customer service tomorrow. Let's see what they say.

And what did he say?

If there are answers to (own) questions, please communicate them here. We can only get smarter.

Hello,

the customer service on the phone couldn't really help me. I then sent the machine to Melitta (it was still under warranty).

After I got the machine back, I didn't get any concrete documentation about the malfunction of the machine. Only a description, that I have to clean the drain hole occasionally, was enclosed.

Gruß

Robert

Hello Robert,

thanks for the info. But what do they mean by "drain hole"?
