Difference JURA Impressa "Z5" and "Z5 2@1"

Differences old and new model?

Hello you,

I have been recommended by Jura the ultra-expensive Impressa Z5 2@1. At a web dealer I found a Z5, which is probably the predecessor model.

Can one of you explain to me where the difference lies? With a price difference of 1,300 to 2,000 this consideration is probably necessary.

The obvious difference is a new display; I wouldn't care. Are there differences in the interior, e.g. in the boiler, or in the handling?

Greetings and many thanks in advance,
/m

The only "big" difference is that you can make two cappuccinos at the same time...

Thank you very much for the quick reaction.

That means, with the "old" Z5 you can only make ONE cappu at the same time, so you have to do a new brewing process for each cappu / latte macchiato?

Is that the only difference? Or are there differences in the construction or quality of the components, especially the brewing group(s)?

Is anyone aware of the Z-Series susceptibility to repair? For example, the devices with the touch keys should be more vulnerable than those without... are there such conspicuous features with the old / new Z-devices as well?

Greetings,
/m

Our kitchen has the "old" Z5. It is meanwhile approx. 5 years old and has got only times new piston rings at the Brüheiheit and a new swivel distributor. And the machine is really running a lot wink.gif .
If I look at the market correctly then the normal Z5 doesn't give anymore. In my opinion, this can probably only be a remnant item for 1300 Euro --> slam! At least I haven't found any "old" Z5 in the shops of the relevant dealers.
