The defective thermoblock has nothing to do with the disturbance during milk foaming. What exactly does not work? Describe it in more detail. May be a valve or a pipe is calcified. Or one of the thermal fuses on the steam heating is blown.
With regard to the defective heating circuit you can install a complete thermoblock incl. brewing head for €70,- or - if you have any idea - just replace the pure heating, which then costs almost €30,-. Gives it e.g. at Komtra.de Art.Nr.5532139700
But at the complete exchange at least then everything is fancy above again. |
Of course the thermoblock has something to do with the steam. The steam loop is connected downstream. If only lukewarm water arrives, the heat output is not sufficient for sufficient steam pressure.
Replace block with 5mm block. Order new connections (are usually supplied with the appropriate gaskets, the old ones do not fit). Apply fresh heat conducting paste to the temp. sensor. Due to the reduction by 1mm the water flow is lower, water takes better temperature.
At the docking port for the milk container there is a small hole at the bottom, which likes to clog with milk. Clean with a toothbrush (never with a needle).
then everything should work again
