To all involved in RESET procedure... You MUST let machine finish it's initialization cycle... that is to say - twice is water going through steam panarello nozzle and You have to prepare large cup under it to let machine finish. Only after that You will have working machine and enjoy in espresso...

After step 11 it does not work anymore.
Plug it back in and the coffee machine stays off

I have the same problem - is there a Lsg.approach here?

On the EA81* coffee maker there is no flow control, no strong coffee button, no weak coffee button...
This procedure is not viable for this machine

Hello
, like wilfried, I have an AE81* and for me neither the procedure you describe gives anything.
Small difference with the other cases mentioned in this post, my machine stopped working after a cleaning cycle.
Since this cleaning, it turns on and heats up (the blue button flashes and then becomes fixed) but the calc button flashes as soon as I turn it on and if I press a coffee / strong coffee button (cup + one high line / cup + 3 lines), the water tank button starts to flash too, without anything else happening...
I tried your method, I disassembled the machine to disconnect and reconnect the card, nothing happens... It is well and truly blocked:-/Thanks

for your lights!

Hello to all,

I have a krups coffee machine model ea815070/70J-2818 with a digital displayIt
is stuck in the cleaning cycle.
I have disassembled and cleaned the flow meter.
I have tried to do a reset by pressing prog and plugging in again, I get a menu but the machine shows all the lights.
What should I do next?
Or do you have an idea of the problem?
I thank you in advance

KRUPS EA81* Reset With
or without cleaning slider. Pomace container and water container LED flash.

Attempting to change the grinder setting, grinder grinding time, grinding quantity, coffee powder quantity according to a procedure described in the forums will usually render the machine unusable. Pomace container and water container LED flash after restarting, no more button input possible, machine does not heat.
In a forum an unknown forum user has described a possible RESET for all concerned. I emphasize explicitly that I am not the tinkerer of this procedure, the praise is due to an unknown person. I only transfer the procedure into a readable form and add some steps.
I have tried it on a machine WITHOUT cleaning slides. It works !1. turn

off the power (remove the plug)2.
Remove the water tank, marc container, cleaning slide (if present)3
. set the flow control knob to 20ml4
. press and hold the "strong coffee" button on the far right and plug in the plug5
. all LEDs light up, water tank full, marc container, cleaning slide (if present) reset
6. adjust the flow control knob until all LEDs are off (approximately in the middle position)
7. place the container under the coffee spout and steam nozzle, now press the "weak coffee" button8
. Water is pumped through the coffee spout and steam nozzle, the brewing piston moves to the upper edge of the brewing chamber. The process is repeated twice. Then all red LEDs are off9
. Press the "weak coffee" button again10
. The machine lowers the brewing piston twice, the last time the brewing piston remains in its lowest position

.

When "all LEDs flash"
11. pull the mains plug and wait for at least 5 seconds12
. Insert the mains plug, the brewing piston moves to its initial position.
The machine works again.

For all users with display machines like EA8150, etc

Step by step for the calibration of the grinder:

- Unplug the coffee maker from the electrical network.
- Remove the water container, grounds container, and tray above the grounds container .
- Press the arrow button while you plug the coffee maker back into the network.
- Press the START button once and brackets [ ] will appear on the right side.
- Press the START button once and 3 zeros will appear inside the brackets [000] on the left side.
- Place both the water reservoir and the tray on top of the grounds container and grounds container.
- Now press the START button.

P2 appears.

- Press the steam button once to start the diagnostic.
- The water begins to flow out of the steam nozzle.
- Press the steam button 1 time.
- The piston goes down, but not all the way (twice).
- The piston goes all the way down, the water flows through the piston, and the disc is ejected.

P4 appears.

Disconnect the coffee maker from the electrical network.
Reconnect to the electrical network, turn on the coffee maker and it will have been calibrated.

Hello
,I have a KRUPS EA81* from 09/2018When
I turn on the machine the blue power light comes on steady right away.(without blinking at all).If we serve ourselves a coffee it is lukewarm and bland. The various internal soldering and contacts seem good.
I have reset the machine several times with success and set the T° of the machine to 4.
The coffee served is hot and of better quality but the blue light always lights up fixed at the start up !!!
The next morning it is again lukewarm and insipid.and the residual cake is very thin and liquid

.

After a new reset and adjustment of the water temperature, it's back on until the next day.
The machine loses its memory !!!!!! Do
you
have
a solution?

Important addition:

After unplugging the appliance from the power supply and plugging it back in, it is imperative to

place
a
12th large cup under the coffee spout and under the steam nozzle.
13. fill the water tank14
. Press the "strong coffee" button,
a program is running to refill the system.
Only then will it work again as usual.

A huge, huge THANK YOU!!!
My Krups coffee maker has reset and everything is working properly again.

A thousand thanks!!! biggrin.gif

changing the milling setting does not change or affect anything. The program is designed to grind for a certain time. Only the "time" question remains if the coffee is clear like tea.
The grinding time is resolved by a reset
The fineness of the grind can be modified, but this must be done intelligently. Don't say that this makes the machine faulty, it's absolutely not true.
There is no sensor for the size of the ground coffee. Even in the "fine grain" position, I had mar of 0.5mm diameter (grainy to the touch). So I disassembled the covers, the mill, I modified the angle of the mill head (it is already listed by a colored circle to indicate the factory position). You have to lift the head lock and give it a rotation of about 20° in the direction of grinding more and more fine. In order not to make a mistake, you must reposition the control arm in the grain tank, and simulate a rotation to the left of the adjustment knob and see in which direction the mill head turns. Then you lift the anti-rotation lock, and you shift your head in the direction of fine grinding. Personally, I reassembled everything, and everything worked fine for about two years, until I got that pesky alarm of all the red lights flashing and the mill always locking in the down position. I started by changing the front panel electronic board, this is not it. I'm going to change the flow meter and the pump and then I'll come back to post the progress of the repairs until I find out what's making the mill block at the bottom.
I'm going to proceed in the following order:
- replacement of the flow meter 3€50
- replacement of the pump 34€ delivered
- replacement of the electronic board (the one on the side)
- and replacement of the boiler block if it's still not working
Yes some will quickly say, replace your coffee machinedry.gif<_< it will cost you less.
Maybe, but ... I don't stall in front of a head gasket that farts, a clogged injector to be replaced, a cardan head to be replaced, a problem with the lithium battery management card HS, a problem with the management of the cooling pump on solar circuit, etc etc etc.
I will go to the end, because I like to understand what's wrong when many people are in the same case as me.tongue.gif

KRUPS EA81* Reset Avec

Bons cafés:D:D:D:D:D

Hi, have 8155 with display. Have tried to reset. Doesn't work though. Do not understand the point after the 3 zeros. Put the water tank on the coffee grounds container or something like that. Can someone please explain this to me? The machine now always drives the water valve or ceramic valve through when switching on and does not find the position. In addition, a relay on the circuit board clacks. I just do not understand the reset....gruss
