Siemens EQ500 brewing unit is stuck

Hi all
,with my EQ 500 I have the problem that it is very difficult to remove and insert my brewing unit from the machine. Only with great effort possible....

Do you have any idea what I can do?
I think it is the white guide part on the top of the machine (See picture)

Hi,

The machine must be started with the door open.
Then press the door switch with a rod (e.g. a screwdriver).
The machine starts and the white trainer begins to spin.
By removing the rod it stops rotating.
Be careful not to stop it in the middle but just at the beginning of the rotation.

It worked for me and I finally inserted the brewer unit back! But now the door switch is stuck and I can't close the door...

Use cord / string to overlap leaver and pull back to position…

I followed your instructions as I have the same problem with removing and replacing the brewing unit. However, I can no longer close the door. The internal catch seems to have moved and whatever I do, I cannot get it back into place. Any advice? Many thanks in advance. I was also unable to get the white dial to turn on the door was open.

When you open them right top corner its hole for door latch, and inside is switch

Hi all, just read through the thread and after watching hours of youtube vids on how to do this, the door bypass and stopping the drivegear just at the beginning of the movement worked! Thank you so much.

The white pin was in the exact position as the image. Below are the steps i took to realign it

1-Open the door
2-Use a stick to push the door pin located at the top right socket where door latches go into.
Machine will think door is closed.
3-Press on on/off button. This will turn on the machine. It will start releasing water. and when it finishes releasing water, the white pin will start rotating.
5-Need to stop the rotating white pin ASAP by releasing the stick pushed on door pin.
6-If u cant react fast you can press on on/off button again. This will turn off the machine. The white pin start rotating backwards. You can try to align the white pin at this moment as well.
7-You can repeat 3-6 to align.
8-Once aligned you can insert the brewing unit again and close the door. Machine should continue its normal operation
