Hello together,

I would like to buy a fully automatic coffee maker.
I can choose between the DeLonghi EAM 3500 or the NIVONA CafeRomantica 740 Which one should I use? It is important to me that the machine is less susceptible to normal use and makes super delicious, hot, coffee.

Have since yesterday a Nivona 770 and are absolutely satisfied. Milk foam even works optimally with 3.5% milk, coffee is super hot and the cappuccinatore is very easy to clean. Our dealer should include de Longhi in the program, but doesn't want to. Why didn't he really let it out, but gave the impression that he wasn't so convinced.

Also you have to say that Nivona is built with a lot of components, which are also used by Jura and Bosch/Siemens.

Hello,
I hear the name Nivona more and more often. there must also be a good machine among insiders.
why did you just prefer the Nivona 770 - there are a lot of different models - where is this machine priced?

Hello,

I had found a very nice dealer who had set up and explained both fully automatic coffee machines.

What I liked about the Nivona was the design.

What I liked about the deLonghi was the super fast and uncomplicated cappuccino preparation.

In the test Nivona against deLonghi ( and after many cups of coffee/ espresso ) I was clearly convinced by the deLonghi. She just makes the hotter coffee/espresso. She was also better at preparing a cappuccino, so the Nivona seemed a bit unwieldy with the hose.
But also the cleaning or opening of the machine to remove the pomace container or the brewing group. The Nivona is opened at the side, the deLonghi at the front. That was also important for me, because I didn't know how to turn the machine every time I cleaned it.

Price was about the same for both machines.

Many greetings

You may have seen a Nivona before,
but you have never used it.

Then you should not write anything about it.

- Pomace container and rinsing water should be taken from the front.
The brewing group of the Nivona rarely needs to be cleaned,
only it can be taken from the side.
The Model 770 has rollers so that you can move them easily
.

- You can adjust the temperature of the coffee - in the hottest
setting you almost burn your mouth.

- Consistency and shelf life of the milk foam are extremely good in Nivona
- nothing better.

- If you look around in different shops, you will often see broken milk containers in DeLonghi.
It's not stable.
The Nivona system is simple, easy to clean (important)
and also much cheaper as a replacement if something breaks.

Hello,

have had a CafeRomantica 740 from Nivona for 3 weeks. This is my 3rd fully automatic machine.
My 1st was a very cheap "Ariete", but not worth the money. Just problems. My 2nd was a DeLomghi ESAM3000B, and now the Nivona 740.
The trigger for the purchase have given several factors. First of all, I would like to tell you what the most important buying decisions for me are/were:

1. coffee must be hot. Here the Nivona could absolutely convince in the business of DeLonghi. Even with the normal temperature setting it was considerably better in the shop than the DeLonghi 3500. I would like to keep quiet about others in the price segment.

2. since we drink a lot of coffee with milk ( cappuccino / coffee latte etc ) milk frothing should simply be possible. Here the Spumatore of Nivona can absolutely convince. The milk foam is firm and the milk hot. The only disadvantage at this point is that the hose is a little annoying and the knob is relatively difficult to move. The absolute advantage is the easy cleaning of the foaming system. Simply put the hose into a cup of water and unscrew a little Dapf and the cleaning of the nozzle is perfect. In comparison, DeLonghi 3500. The milk container is relatively large, you can take it off and put it in the fridge. So far so good, but lactic acid attacks the plastic over time, making the containers brittle. This is also the main reason for the many broken containers.

3. Easy operability. Everything is clearly arranged on the Nivona. The amount of water can be infinitely adjusted. Coffee strength adjustable with 3 different grinding quantities.

4. Grinding mechanism of the Nivona is super quiet. Painting degree can be adjusted continuously.

And then the super bargain for the Nivona machine: CafeRomantica 740 5-cover demo for 479€, you can't say no.

Best regards

Well, unfortunately only a comparison between an 11 years old Saeco and a 20 months old Nivona 750.
After 20 months almost total damage with about 10 cups a day.
Mill, circuit board and anything else????
My old Saeco after 2 years storage break in the cellar, brews as ever.
The confidence in the Swiss work, in the .........
Especially if I had bought the thing as a private person, I would have 24 months warranty, but as a company, 12 months.
Ca. 300.00 bells I should pay.

So with just espresso, I wouldn't take aVA. Since the espresso simply does not taste as good as it does from a sieve carrier.
If it should be a KVA, however, because maybe a used Solis Master Top or something like that.
Otherwise I can only report from Delonghi.
First we had an ESAM 4200 and now since today an ECAM 23.450.
The ECAM makes super hot coffee what the ESAM has not done. Even the cappu is super hot with the ECAM and that's also level 2 of 4 at the temperature.
There are a lot of adjustment possibilities and we are still testing. But ECAM's milk foam is great. Really nice creamy.
You hear more and more about Nivona but personally I have not tested any yet.
They are certainly not bad.
