Hi everyone,

I am looking for a fully automatic coffee maker - for a single household (me tongue.gif ).

>To my requirements: The machine should make a decent coffee (drink a maximum of 4 cups per day) and occasionally some milk foam. I therefore attach particular importance to good workmanship. Probably some people will now want to refer me to a capsule device, but it is not compatible with my environmental conscience to throw away such a capsule for every coffee. I prefer to pay a little more money.

Had informed me already some time. The following have now been shortlisted:

Jura ENA 5, available here at Mediamarkt for just 499 euros.

Siemens TK 58001, available at serious online retailers for around 450 euros.

DeLonghi Esam II 3500, available at Mediamarkt or Saturn for 599 euros.

and Delonghi Esam 3000 or 3200.

>Mir would at first sight particularly agree with the Jura or Siemens, since I consider the system with the milk hose to be quite practical. However, the Siemens seems very cheap to me from the processing (I looked at it in the shop). And in the case of Jura, it bothers me that I would have to send in the machine.

In the case of Jura, my question is: How often would I have to send in the machine? Do I incur any additional costs (before or after expiration of the warranty)? What is otherwise the cleaning effort for the device (especially because of the non-detachable brewing group)?

And in general: Which device would you recommend smile.gif

Many thanks for your tips.

Best regards wink.gif

Let all machines in the specialized trade demonstrate to you extensively. We also had certain devices in mind at first. After the demonstration it turned out to be a completely different device, because we liked the operation much better (besides the optics). Nothing is worse than noticing at home that the supposed dream device is far too cumbersome for one's own purpose.

I personally would prefer Siemens.
A removable BG is mandatory for me! Everything else is never really clean, especially if the machine doesn't run regularly all day...
In my opinion, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Siemens in terms of quality.
General in general: Look at the parts you should clean every day (drip tray) Are they easy to clean? Like I said, the parts are in your hands every day. The huge, twisty drip tray of my DeLonghi has annoyed me very much at some point

For my part, I have about the same coffee habits and have owned the Delonghi ESAM 3200 for about 2 1/2 years. Super coffee, easy to clean and decalcify, has never been defective. I can only recommend Delonghi*****

Thank you for your answers.

At Siemens, the entire buttons feel pretty cheap. The Delonghi devices made a better impression.

Is the pollution of the Jura really that extreme? And doesn't anyone know how often you have to send them in?

Yes, after two days you need rubber boots wink.gif

Quatsch! No more than all other machines. And send it in for what? How often do you send in your washing machine?

Washing machine? So I have a removable brew group tongue.gif

I just thought you'd have to send in the Jura VAs regularly for cleaning? Or am I misinformed?

Yes no you are wrong informed you are doing this yourself at home biggrin.gif

When the machine asks you to clean it simply clean it with Jura cleaning tablets according to the instructions.

So, I looked again, and will now decide between two machines:

Either the Delonghi Esam 5500 or the Siemens S75 TK 69009.

Which do you think is better? Somehow I can't decide between the two of them. Both are available in Munich for less than 700 Euro, so they cost the same.

Many thanks already. I also searched a lot in the forum, but unfortunately found practically nothing about both devices.

Best regards

I'd take the DeLonghi from these two. But it is purely subjective, because I like it better in terms of operation and appearance. You'll get good coffee with both of them.

hello, i bought the DeLonghi Magnifica for 340€ via internet, and full of praise.it is important that you can take out the brew group.and cleaning is also fast. with capsule machines the adjustment possibilities for taste and water quantity are not available.
so maybe you can make a price comparison with google.
have fun buying. rolleyes.gif

it is important that the brewing group can be removed.

What is it important for? It is important to me that 1.) the coffee tastes good and 2.) the machine does not become unhygienic. But I don't need a removable brew group for that.

Thanks again for your help.

DocJott, just see that you once had the TK64001. Can you possibly tell me what it was like with that cappuccino? I'm afraid that it's going to get loose sooner or later.

Super I find the system of the new Siemens EQ7. The one with the folding coffee spout is somehow of ingenious simplicity. Why nobody thought of it before... but three hundred euros more doesn't justify the whole mE anyway.

Many regards
