Moin Moin,

I bought a Krups XP7210 on ebay.

After some time I have water leakages below the machine... (back left and sometimes below the coffee tray).

Has anyone had similar experiences or tips??

Had I enjoyed a bargain... maybe this can be fixed by a small repair..

Thanks and greetings from the north!

In the meantime I have had the housing dismantled...

In the lower area a coffee puddle has formed...

>Can anyone start something with it and give a hint?

Greetings from the north...

Hello,

Have also just got a 7200 from Ebay here. Mine looked similar but was still dense. The coffee in the case means that the brewing head seal is worn out (the large O-ring at the top). Must be new. That's probably where the water in the back left comes from. The water rises from the brewing chamber and then runs into the housing on the left.

Then my machine was still tight, but when I disassembled it I saw that the stamp seal was torn. That will also be the case with you only with you the seal is complete therefore the water in front. It runs down the press plunger and then forward.

My machine I completely disassembled and cleaned all parts. The housing parts into the shower and hot water over them. The rest with vacuum cleaner and toothbrush. The pressure hoses (with the clamps) do not need to be loosened.

Remove the upper grindstone of the grinder and then remove the coffee powder completely from the grinder.

Many work but you should get the crate back.

Beauty greetings

Thank you very much for the advice!!

What seal do you mean exactly? (brewing head seal (the large O-ring at the top))? Where can you find them? (or is it so big that I can't see it? ;-))

Do you have the order numbers and link where I can get all parts?

I mean the O-ring or the 2 O-rings (depending on the version) at the top of the brewing head. It has a diameter of 40mm and sits on the white cylinder which always goes up and down and in which a hose is inserted which leads to the coffee spout.
Pull it down (the O-ring) and see if it is porous and worn (the outer side is rubbed off). Then coffee powder and water can pass it and spread in the machine or run into the bottom.

Spare parts are available from Juraprofi, for example.

Hello,
How many covers has your Ebay shot already had down? Have you checked the meter yet? Mine had 5943 but is now running fine as good as new again. wink.gif

Hello

How can I read the coffee purchases on the XP7200 /XP7210? I thought that only with the XP7220 and XP7240 the number of brews, rinses etc. can be queried. An XP7240 of mine has only 826 pieces after not quite 2 years.

Hi

Nothing simpler than that,

The models of Krups without display XP7180, XP7200, XP7210, EA8000 have the following procedure to display the number of coffee purchases:

Unplug power plug
keys for "Rinse" and "strong coffee" at the same time hold down
Plug power plug back in
keys can now be released
-the display below the cup heating area should now display a -1-
key for "Press briefly on the "steam" button
- now Observe the display starts with "-" and then the number of steam draws

Hello

It's a great thing. 3390 piece has my 7210 on the hump.

Many thanks for this tip and the other "secret keycodes" for the XP7220/XP7240 from the post

Great greetings biggrin.gif

Many thanks for all the clues.... Seal was installed and the machine doesn't seem to lose any more water... after some cups a strange noise appeared during the brewing process; I will continue to observe it...

My machine made 2100 cups; compared to you probably very little...

I made another remark about the number of cups... It also works without pulling the mains plug...

Machine must be off...
keys for "Rinse" and "strong coffee" simultaneously (this is the setup mode for water hardness, temperature, and standby time...
Simply press the steam button until you see the "-" button; after that the number of cups is displayed one after the other...

Thank you again for your great help "Frahlingliebhaber"
