Hello together,

>my 1 year young Delonghi Esam 5500 is not recognizing the water outlet anymore.
If I put the water outlet in and press on hot water the message water outlet insert always appears.

The milk tank I can insert works everything.

Has someone a tip for me.

Many thanks already in advance.

Greeting
Chrissi

Hello Chrissi, since you still have warranty, please contact Delonghi.

Hello Stefan,
ja I have already done that, they also want to pick up the machine and then look.
However, my beloved fully automatic machine is then definitely gone for 1 week and I am on withdrawal.
That's why I wrote here first if anyone has a tip, because this attachment for the water outlet doesn't look defective either.

Otherwise I have to go through it and have my machine picked up.

Until there
Chrissi

Hello Chrissi, unfortunately must be. If you wanted to do it yourself, you would have to open the case and risk the warranty. sad.gif

i had that with my esam 3500 as well.was then to the warranty and there were made also still other things but the with the water spout they had probably forgotten or were too stupid for it.was very disappointed and then did it myself. you simply exchange both microswitches and then it runs immediately again.you can remove the yes and first check for continuity.it should not be more than 0.3 ohm. at 0.4 the switch still has continuity but the circuit board seems to have problem with it and it does not work.
so exchange the two microswitches and everything will be fine.how you remove them and where you get the parts you can find out everything here in the net. to change the switches you don't have to disassemble the whole machine.moreover, if you remove the cover you can see how angular it looks behind the switches because of all the milk that sometimes goes wrong. any layman who manages to take a screwdriver in his hand without putting an eye out gets the switches changed ;-))

Hello,
got our Esam 6700 yesterday and the same problem during commissioning. Water outlet is not detected. There's no akk either. Signal. The milk container is. Tried it a couple times. Also switched off and on again. Nothing. Do you have a hint?

Bend the "mandrel" from the water outlet easily down, as it does not hit its microswitch, or outsmart the initial start-up by docking the milk container and keeping the Clean button pressed...

Yesterday we were still with our water outlet in a large electronics store. It worked out great. It was a completely different resistance and also a very quiet click to hear. Let's go home. Then it has also worked but with each new insertion the request comes nevertheless again. So the outlet is not always recognized. That sucks. We will try to exchange the machine (have 60 days right of return). I will certainly not start with warranty and repair before there was any coffee in it. I think the microswitches need cleaning or replacement. Otherwise, it's a nice device. You'll get off to a good start. Too bad.

Also with my machine appears in the display water outlet insert, although this is already inserted. No water comes out of the nozzle, the milk foam regulator does not react in the clean position and therefore descaling does not work either. Checked the microswitch on it. However, this one works. Can anyone help me?

How do you know the microswitch works?

Had the same problem: water outlet plugged until click / snap and still the message.
Have also turned to support but I no longer have warranty. Sure the buttons can be broken, but I noticed that after the click is still a small gap between the machine and nozzle. I then courageously against the will of the machine, pressed further in, and what do I hear - the detection beep! So you should test in any case, before you unscrew the whole machine, just courageously press in, because there is still a bit of play in the connection.
