Hello to all DeLognghi experts!
I urgently need some help!
I have an ESAM3000B that can no longer elicit coffee from it.
The machine only shows the dishwashing process and the coffee supply drop by drop. Takes miserably long!
Brew unit went heavy! I have equipped with new sealing rings incl. brewing sieve blown out. Now runs super easy! problem was still present.
After upper brewing flask disassembled. It was all completely calcified. It was all cleaned and blown. I thought that must have been it. Still no clean flush. The pump is pumping, but again the water only comes dripping and slowly out of the outlet nozzles. Maybe it's the pump. It's disassembled and connected directly to 220V. Pump runs and delivers like crazy.
Pump reinstalled and inlet hose drawn off to the upper brewing piston at the boiler outlet.
Look there! Until then the water runs out with proper pressure during the rinsing process!
Why doesn't it run through the upper brewing piston anymore'
How does the flow through the upper brewing cylinder work?
Is there any valve that may not open properly anymore?
May be the microswitch that is not pressed properly anymore?
Is there a rule of thumb that allows you to check the upper brewing piston for continuity ( not allowed to be sluggish or so ) ?
I'm slowly despairing of this device and would be super grateful for every tip.
Many thanks in advance for the answers. Regards" NoMoreSenseo*

Have you given the upper brewing flask new seals and really had it completely disassembled?

If yes, I would tap the pump. Had I only recently again with the Ulka in a Saeco Magic.

Hot water was totally in order but already the flushing by the empty brewing group lasted miserably long, more than 30 seconds for approx. 150 mL.

New pump ball and working seal brought full success. The working seal was completely widened and slipped down by itself from the removed piston.

I would pump decalcifying solution through the brewing flask.

You have disassembled it and cleaned it, but I don't know if you can get it completely lime-free.

Thanks first for your answers!
As the upper brew cock I had completely disassembled and put all parts where's water was rushing through into a descaler that worked cold.
The descaler solution was then snow white.
I have not yet installed any new gaskets because I wanted to know first whether the device runs again.
Since the parts were relatively strongly calcified I suspected these impurities first.
The Ulka pump sucks in automatically when disassembled and pushes out properly to the other side.
Unless it doesn't do that anymore if it gets too much resistance.
You can test it when disassembled?
My assumption was that there was a mechanical problem.
What happens when the lower brewing unit presses against the upper piston. It is pressed up somehow at that moment and then releases the water path for flushing. Or?
Can I test the upper brewing piston in the disassembled state or press it upwards by hand to exclude the possibility that this way is somehow defective?
should be a ne' similar function as in Jura E-series the drainage valve?

I just took the pump apart again!
Cleaned and decalcified the whole outlet, reassembled it and connected it directly
.
The pump builds up a super pressure. Also finger forward'm outlet can not stop it.
Reinstalled and still the same problem. Pump is mooching quietly and droplet irrigation.
My suspicion still lies in the water passage of the upper brewing flask that something is rotten there.

Problem solved!
Hurrah! It rinses and gives coffee again!
I have once again completely dismantled the upper brewing piston unit
and bathed the whole weekend in a descaling solution.
There was apparently still a small remainder of lime.
Everything blown out with air and nu' it runs again.
As the tip with the decalcification of the upper brewing flask during the rinsing process now and then one should take the Delonghi's calmly seriously!
saves you some tinkering under circumstances.
greeting and until the next question" NoMoreSenseo*

Thanks for the feedback! Would have been a miracle had it not been for the piston or the pump.

Thank you guys,

was also desperate, but the flush pump trick works premium and has saved with just 300.--.../forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />
