Krups Xp7240 Error 0A

Hello coffee addicts

I have with our XP 7240 an error I neither here in the forum (yes I have used the search, maybe not right ?) still elsewhere could find and please for information from the specialists

the machine went until recently flawless since this morning makes it after switching on "device heats up pre" then shortly thereafter device defect error no 0A

can someone tell me what it could be and whether a repair is worth

machine has no more warranty

Yes are correct We did not have this error here yet.

Error 0A

Error Temperature control because the desired temperature was not reached. Possibly the heating resistor is defective (thermoblock remains cold) or the wiring has a fault (rarely).
or the NTC glued to the thermoblock towards the front of the machine is defective or dropped.

The heating resistor should have about 45 Ohm. If it is high-impedance the heating is defective and a new brewing unit is due which costs over 100€. Then it might be worth asking the Krups Service stupid questions (no idea what is broken). At the moment I think they take 90€ for a flat repair.

If the NTC is defective it only costs a maximum of 20€ if you do it yourself.
