CM6 MilkPerfection from Miele

As its name suggests, the new Miele CM6 MilkPerfection is aimed at lovers of coffee with milk. A double steam addition is intended to improve foaming. For this purpose, a process called "double venturi" is introduced for foaming milk. It is named after the inventor of the Venturi nozzle, Giovanni Battista Venturi. The result should be a particularly fine-pored foam. How the new process performs in practice has yet to be shown in a detailed test.

On the positive side, Miele has not neglected the issue of cleaning by improving milk preparation. With the new CM6 MilkPerfection, it is no longer necessary to change the milk line for automatic cleaning. For this purpose the device is equipped with a double hose. The first line leads from the milk container to the fully automatic coffee machine, the second is responsible for the rinsing water. A dishwasher-safe glass milk container is already included with this model. As with all Miele appliances, the brewing unit can also be removed from this fully automatic coffee maker.

The user can choose from 18 preset beverages. New are Espresso Macchiato, Flat White and different kinds of tea. In addition to various basic settings, a specific operating mode can also be preselected, so that the machine is optimised for preparing many different beverages in the shortest possible time. This is achieved by heating up the appliance more often and rinsing less frequently.

Operation is via the soft-touch buttons familiar from Miele appliances. All models in the CM6 series can also be connected to the Miele app. In addition to displaying the current cleaning status, this allows beverages to be dispensed remotely. This is also possible by voice command using Amazon Alexa.

Up to seven colour combinations are available, including Lotus White, Obsidian Black CleanStealMetallic or Graphite Grey PearlFinish. Miele's CM6 MilkPerfection is available in three equipment versions from EUR 1,120.04 and is available immediately.
