Several times a year, Tchibo launches limited coffee specialities that are only available for a short period of time. The fourth coffee this year is called "Mata de Caña" which means "sugar cane". It has the same name as the coffee farm it comes from. The Tarrazú region in the province of San José in Costa Rica is known for its good climatic conditions, which allow the Arabica coffee plants to thrive at an altitude of about 1800m.
The coffee and has Rainforest Alliance certification and is available from 3 August, ground or whole beans for 21.56 euros per kilogram from Tchibo online or in its stores.
