For over 20 years, the Swiss coffee machine manufacturer has been imparting coffee knowledge in its training and advice centre at its headquarters in Zuchwil. Customers and partners from all over the world learn everything they need to do their job, from coffee cultivation to machine settings. Since 2013, Schaerer Deutschland GmbH has also been passing on know-how to customers and partners at its headquarters in Lonsee-Urspring.

"The concept of the Schaerer Coffee Competence Centre has been further developed under our motto 'We love it your way'. As with our coffee machines, we now offer customers the greatest possible flexibility in the CCC course offering, so that the contents can be adapted to their individual needs," explains Hansjürg Marti, Managing Director of Schaerer Deutschland GmbH.

The new one-day courses, individual modules and special workshops can be booked individually or in combination, focusing on the three topics of "basic knowledge", "sensory analysis" and "understanding coffee machines". For example, the daily course "360° coffee knowledge" introduces the diverse world of coffee and provides basic knowledge about green and roasted coffee, coffee brewing and preparation as well as service recommendations. If you are only interested in certain topics, you can also take individual modules from the day course, such as "Getting started with coffee brewing".

The one-day seminar "Understanding coffee machines", which is tailored to Schaerer coffee machines, starts with the basic settings and ends with perfect machine care. "For example, in the course section 'Adjustment' we deal with the technical parameters of the coffee machine. The participants learn which influencing variables are relevant and how these need to be adjusted in order to fully exploit the potential of the bean and machine," explains Monika Oeggerli, CCC trainer and, since May 2019, also a board member of SCA Switzerland (Speciality Coffee Association).

Detailed information about the new training courses offered by the Schaerer Coffee Competence Centre at the Lonsee-Urspring location can be obtained by telephone on +49 73 36 95 25-0.
