As you can read under "Our Coffee" / "Our Favourite Layer", the first coffee plants were brought to the paradisiacal Caribbean island by Captain Gabriel de Clieu in 1721. It is grown there in small quantities by Monsieur Chaulet and is an exclusive and expensive layer coffee. Legend has it that these plants became the ancestors of all coffees in Jamaica, Central and South America. Even if this was not the case, the coffee still deserves attention, is a somewhat stronger variant of Hawaii, so also a coffee to sit down, think and discover. .
