In 2012 we started selling coffee on the Carmelite market in a joint project with Kaas. The coffee station was born. We only sell coffees that are BIO and FAIRTRADE certified. But we still needed something: a BIO and FAIRTRADE coffee blend with a small amount of Robusta. Such coffees are rare, as there are only a handful of Robusta coffees in the world that are both BIO and FAIRTRADE certified. So we created the Carmelite mixture, an Italian mixture with 10% Robusta content. This Robusta comes from Tanzania. Strong organic FAIRTRADE coffee blend with Robusta content. Speculoos in the nose, chocolate and dark nougat on the palate, long finish. 90% Arabica, 10% Robusta.
