This coffee, which trades as SHG in Nicaragua, is treated with spring water. It is a microlot with a lot size of 450 quintales (1 quintal = 45.3 kg) from the Departamento Jinotega, Municipio El Cúa from the area Penas Blancas/El Golfo. We obtain this Catimor (crossing of the varieties Timor and Caturra) directly from the producers who cooperate with the two Austrian coffee farmers Sabine Khalil and Ulrich Salamun, from whom we will also obtain other delicious coffees in the future. The large family of local producing coffee farmers is called "Los Tinoco". Their fincas are located between 1100 and 1350 metres above sea level, all in the "Valle de Los Tinoco". Tasting notes: medium-bodied, black elderberry and berries in the nose, low in acidity, hazelnuts and dark chocolate on the palate, fruity finish.
