Dauner Kaffeerösterei Brasilien `Adolfo` - Fazenda Passeio

Manufacturer product description

In the third generation, the family of Adolfo Henrique Vieira Ferreira runs the idyllic and high plantation in the heart of Sul de Minas. The Fazenda Passeio is a member of the Brazil Speciality Coffee Association and one of the best Fazendas in Brazil. The 130 hectare farm is located at an altitude of 1100 to 1200 m on Monte Belo, with very fertile soils and regular rainfall. The yellow Arabica variety "Yellow Bourbon" growing on this Talhão is harvested fully ripe and dried for us either as a complete coffee cherry (natural) or after wet squeezing (pulped natural) in the sun on drying tables, so-called "African beds". The coffee is thus aerated from below and above for better drying. To protect against night dew, these tables are covered like tents in the evening, following the African model. In addition to careful cultivation and harvesting, this special drying technique ensures the high quality of these coffees.
