Ferdinands Kaffeerösterei Osnabrück Honduras SHG Kooperative Comsa, 500 g

Ferdinands Kaffeerösterei Osnabrück Honduras SHG Kooperative Comsa

Manufacturer product description

Honduras is an ideal coffee growing area in terms of climatic conditions and geographical location. The mild tropical weather influences and the optimally located highland plantations are a guarantee for high-quality coffee. This special variety is more complex than its "neighbor" HG (High Grown) and therefore a coffee speciality. Nevertheless, the coffee yield in Honduras is not very productive, not least for political and economic reasons, with an Arabica world harvest share of only about 2 %. Although the cultivation areas have more than tripled in the last 20 years, it remains a rather rare coffee, albeit of very high quality. Explanation: SHG = Strictly High Grown | 1600 meters above sea level and higher EP = European Preparation | The beans are processed and washed directly after harvest and on site by hand. The beans must not fall below a certain minimum size.
