The Helder Italiaans is our own espresso creation, following the example of northern Italy. But since we don't roast the espresso quite as dark as the Italians, our house blend hasn't become as bitter. The great thing about it, for the Helder Italiaans we have not only Arabica beans, but also a small portion Robusta beans mixed in. Nutty aromas can be discovered in the espresso cup. Thanks to the small amount of Robusta, the Helder Italiaans has a beautiful and firm crema. The espresso is ideal for cappuccino and as a single espresso. For newcomers to our espresso range, it is always advisable to start with the house blend first and then, if desired, to switch to individual pure varieties.
