The Tres Marias is a mild coffee, with good fullness. It is aromatic but soft in taste and has a very harmonious and balanced character. Coffee is grown in Honduras at an altitude of 300 to 1500 m above sea level. Despite a strong expansion of coffee cultivation in the last 20 years, Honduras is still a small country with a world market share of around 2%. The main growing areas are Santa Barbara, Copan, Comayagua, La Paz, El Paradiso and Intibuca. Honduras Tres Marias is a washed coffee, its beans are medium in size and roundish.
