Hensler Kenia: Masai AA, 500 g

Hensler Kenia: Masai AA

Manufacturer product description

A coffee speciality with a rather rich, heavy character. Kenya Masai tastes very strong, offers a full aroma and a fine acidity that rounds off the taste. Coffees from Kenya are among the best traded on the world market. In Kenya, Arabica coffees are grown almost exclusively and are sold worldwide by the Kenya Coffea Board, a marketing company. The main importer of Kenyan coffee is currently Germany. In contrast to most other single-variety coffees, the name Masai is not a cultivation area, but a special trademark. Coffee is grown in Kenya mainly north-east of Nairobi in Ruiru, Thika and in the Rift Valley. Kenya Masai grows at an altitude of 1400 to 2100 m above sea level. It is processed wet. The abbreviation "AA" stands for sieving, which corresponds approximately to sieve size 17/18. The beans are of medium size.
