Spicy in taste and yet somewhat velvety, this is not a contradiction in the Hacienda Monte Alto AA. It convinces with its full aroma and its fine acidity. This rarity looks very harmonious and has a rather strong body. The Hacienda Monte Alto AA grows only on three coffee farms in the southwestern part of the island. The Puerto Rican highlands are characterised by a mild climate and very fertile clay soils. This coffee rarity is cultivated here at an altitude of 1700 to 2000 m. Chemical fertilisers and spraying agents are not used, instead natural agents are used. The abbreviation "AA" in the name of the coffee indicates the sieving of the unseparated coffee. The beans are slightly larger and correspond at least to the sieve size 18.
