The plantation is located at 1,600 m above sea level in the Amazon Mountains and is certified with the Rainforest Alliance seal, which recognizes companies that comply with strict regulations for the protection of the environment, wildlife and workers. The hand-picked coffee cherries are processed directly on the farm. The sun-dried coffee is stored in parchment for at least 3 months to rest. Only then is it peeled and prepared for export.
