LA MANUELA Premium-Arabica, Colombia, washed At an altitude of 1600-1800m.a.s.l. at the foothills of the Andes an Arabica coffee of noble quality is cultivated. A full body, a balanced, slightly nutty aroma and a very aromatic mild acidity make this coffee something of the best that the already high coffee culture of Colombia has to offer! Of course, the LA MANUELA by Kaffeepur is a SUPREMO quality, which is considered the absolute top quality. This fine green coffee is not easy to roast because it starts to "sweat" when roasted too long, which means that the cell structure of the bean is slightly damaged and the contained coffee oil comes to the surface. Colombia has been fighting Coca cultivation for a long time. Coffee would be an alternative, but it is being torpedoed by the low world market prices for coffee. However, this does not apply to LA MANUELA, as this speciality coffee is paid several times the usual price! And frankly, I think this extraordinary coffee is definitely worth it!
