In the 17th century, the Dutch introduced the coffee plant to Indonesia and the first coffee harvested in Java was sold in Amsterdam in 1712. In the east of Java at the foot of volcano Ijen, at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,600 metres, this plantation coffee grows under tropical conditions. Due to our medium roasting depth, the coffee develops chocolaty aromas, a fine fruity note and a full body.
