The Famers & Co Cooperative wants to help Burundian coffee regain its international reputation and has therefore set itself the goal of continuity. The coffees are treated and processed strictly by all partners according to protocol in order to achieve this goal. The different varieties (Ngozi, Kayanz, Kirundo, Jackson and Mbiriz) are separated by region due to the small production quantities of the farmers, in order to take account of the typical taste profiles of the soils. This Natrual is part of a pilot project in which sun-dried micro lots were produced on order and at a previously agreed fixed price.
