The coffee shrubs thrive at an altitude of 1100 to 1500 metres above sea level in south-eastern Brazil. The excellent location on the volcanic mountain slopes and the balanced climate produce a particularly high-quality coffee, which is characterised by a fine, slightly nutty flavour. It has a low balanced acidity and is therefore very digestible.
