Vee´s Kaffeerösterei Espresso d`Oro Grande

Manufacturer product description

The origins of Monsooned Malabar date back to the 18th century, when green coffee was transported by ship from India to Europe during the monsoon months. As it took almost 6 months to sail the Cape of Good Hope, the beans ripened from a fresh green to a pale yellow-golden colour in the stocky humid climate. Today Monsooning is a maturing process under comparable climatic conditions. The harvested beans are dried in the sun and stored until the beginning of the monsoon. From June to September the beans are exposed to wind and moisture and lose their natural acidity. The roasted coffee is mild and sweet and is characteristic of the Malabar coast in southwest India. Vee's Espresso d'Oro Grande has a great fullness with spicy aromas of chocolate and nuts as well as a delicate, silky crema.
