This coffee plantation is managed by Antonio Alfaro and is one of the best producers of speciality coffees in El Salvador. The coffee of Finca El Carmen has been grown for over a hundred years by the Alfaro family in the subtropical climate of the Apaneca-Ilamatepec tanning mountain ranges in the west of the smallest Central American state. The coffee grows under shade trees at 1300m above sea level, near the town of Ataco. 100% Arabica, variety bourbon, hand-picked, wet processing and sun-dried. A mild coffee pleasure with a persistent caramel sweetness, chocolaty body, long-lasting, fresh aftertaste. We recommend this coffee for manual filtration, French press preparation, Aero-Press and also for the filter coffee machine.
